It isn’t hard to recognize that even though we live on a planet that surrounds us with beauty, that there is a lot of darkness happening within humanity. The ancient Sanskrit teachings understood that civilization goes through distinct cycles of creation and destruction. Native traditions have similar stories to describe different ages of humanity as well. It can be easy to lose hope sometimes, but there many possibilities for spiritual growth and awakening during this time. Let’s look at the bigger picture knowing that the warm glow of dawn always follows the coldest, darkest moments of the night.
Religion tends to encourage hierarchy and praise. Christians, for example, look up to priests and they pray to Jesus Christ and God. Now, don’t get me wrong — prayer can be a wonderful tool for further connecting with ourselves, and it can provide us with comfort and guidance. However, seeking answers outside the Self and from an external God is not necessarily empowering yourself.
In Buddhism one of the ‘Three Characteristics’ is No-Self (the other two are impermanence and suffering which are closely associated with this). This refers to the illusion of reality having a permanent and separate self.
What would our world be like today of these top 10 spiritual truths were taught in our schools, in the mainstream media, and in our history books? How can we change the system to introduce these topics to our future generations? What will the world be like after successfully recognizing these spiritual truths?
Learning to develop and trust our intuitive intelligence is more important now than it ever has been before. According to a recent UCLA study, we are exposed to a tsunami of information that amounts to over 174 newspapers full of data per day. That is more than 5 times the amount of information we were exposed to just 20 years ago. Included in this deluge of data are countless opinions, endless streams of expert advice and a myriad of gurus and guides telling us what we should be doing in order to live our best lives.
If you desire and seek a deeper connection with your spirituality, there is no better way than communicating with your Higher-Self. In fact, we aren’t meant to walk the journey of life alone, we have an invisible guide, ever watching and supporting us in our lives. In this blog, I’m going to share a bit about how your Higher-Self works, and how you can directly communicate with it so you can live a more connected, fulfilling, purposeful and happy life.
Our Divine Guidance is a very important aspect of our life, whether we are aware of it or not. We are never truly disconnected from Source, from our Higher Self, but it can definitely look like that at times. When we live in illusion, we can see things very differently than how they actually are, like we are looking through very dirty, broken lenses.
That’s one of the many reasons we have to become more and more aware of our connection to the All, to our Higher Self and to our team of Spirit Guides. Many people think they have to do something to be “more psychic” , to be ” more guided “, but in Truth all we have to do is to become more aware, more conscious of the guidance we are already receiving and have been receiving all our life, or the blockages that stop us from recognising it.
But one thing you can be absolutely certain of- you will have challenges and problems, no matter what. And when those problems come, you’ll only have two choices in how you react: positively or negatively.
Lao-Tzu, one of the most renowned philosophers and poets of ancient China, left behind many important lessons for our souls to learn. Best known as the author of the Tao Te Ching and the founder of philosophical Taoism, his remarkable wisdom and messages of peace, resilience, and living cohesively remind us what really matters in life, and how we can develop ourselves as a collective. He is a central figure in Chinese culture, but his words can apply to people all over the world.
Many centuries ago, Lao Tzu, spoke of the four cardinal virtues, teaching that when we practice them as a way of life, we come to know the truth of the universe. The ancient Chinese master said that living and practicing these teachings can open you to higher wisdom and greater happiness, as they realign you to the source and enable you to access all the powers that source energy has to offer.
“When you succeed in connecting your energy with the divine realm through high awareness and the practice of undiscriminating virtue, the transmission of the ultimate subtle truths will follow.” Lao Tzu
It has been written about before, over and over again, but cannot be emphasized enough. The world of quantum physics is an eerie one, one that sheds light on the truth about our world in ways that challenge the existing framework of accepted knowledge.
What we perceive as our physical material world, is really not physical or material at all, in fact, it is far from it. This has been proven time and time again by multiple Nobel Prize (among many other scientists around the world) winning physicists, one of them being Niels Bohr, a Danish Physicist who made significant contributions to understanding atomic structure and quantum theory.
Karma means conditioned action. Meditation Master Lama Thubten Yeshe calls it ‘habit energy’. When you are controlled by habit energy that’s what the Buddhist call being trapped in Samsara the wheel of suffering; trapping you within an endless cycle. Another name for it is addiction. There is another way of being, an enlightened way, where you are not controlled by habit energy or social conditioning but instead you are moved by the spontaneous intelligence of the present moment.
We’ve all been in the situation where we’ve met someone new but have this immediate and deep connection – sometimes to the point of being able to anticipate what they are going to say next – or feeling as if they’ve been in our life forever. Often this can mean they have been in a spiritual sense as this kind of ‘instant karma’ we feel with certain people is exactly that. A karmic, past life connection and the level of comfort and feeling we already ‘know’ someone is merely our shared history catching up with us and playing out in this lifetime.
Through life our paths are crossing paths with other people. From our parent to our children, from our brothers and sisters to our marriage partners. According to karmic teachings, we always meet the same souls, only under different masks and different roles. The soul goes through this cycle of physical incarnation because it has some kind of debt or obligation i.e. is not entirely free. Through interaction with others we are given the opportunity to free ourselves from the shackles of karma.
The theory that we plan our lives was something I had never heard of before... It came to me through a vision I had. Before the vision, I believed in reincarnation. The idea of it had always fascinated me and I felt strongly that I did have past lives; I just didn’t know what those lives entailed. After years of research and listening to many people from all different backgrounds and beliefs speak about it from all around the world, I knew it was something that needed to be shared and discussed.
Making the choices of our higher self. Humanity’s spiritual awakening is gathering at a pace. Many have awakened to the profound magic of Unity Consciousness – that cosmic energy which unites all. But what is the next step? Where do we go from there? It’s all about learning to ‘walk the path’ by following our inner compass. So how exactly does that work? I’ve been consciously walking the path for a long time now and encountered many who’re doing the same. Here’s my sharing based on those direct experiences…
I have been listening to my spirit guides since the early 80's. Mind you, if you asked them they would tell you that I have heard them my whole life, I just never listened. You can label them anyway that resonates with you. Some like higher self, intuition, angels, conscience or even just spirit but I have always preferred the term Guides. I believe that connecting with our own inner voice is powerful and necessary.
The following is a fascinating excerpt of what to expect in the afterlife. Generally, once a spirit has crossed over into heaven, it is met by loved ones, goes through alife review, and then moves to its spirit home.
Lost souls are people who are spiritually adrift. For whatever reason, these individuals have blocked the intuitive guidance coming from their higher selves. In doing this, they have also cut themselves off from feeling the infinite love of the universe, and this leads to struggle, anger, sadness and feeling dead inside. As a result, a lost soul’s life is very challenging.
What if a simple change of perspective on how you create reality could uplift not just you, but everyone around you? What if that’s the only truly positive way to change the world…
The divine Gift of Beingness.
It seems to me so many are trying to figure out exactly why they are here, in this incarnation right now. And in a world of increasing turbulence, exactly what are you here to do? How can we help? It’s a question that’s enough to drive you crazy just thinking about it! So what if the reason for your incarnation could easily be revealed to you from the current circumstances of your life? What if a simple change of perspective on how you create reality could uplift not just you, but everyone around you? What if that’s the only truly positive way to change the world…

You don't have a soul... You are a Soul. You have a body.
My soul honors your soul. I honor the place in you where the entire universe resides. I honor the light, love, truth, beauty and peace within you.
Because it is also within me. In sharing these things we are united. We are the same. We are one.
